Density Bonus Resources
California’s Density Bonus Law is a state law that intends to create incentives for developers to include or expand affordable housing within their projects by granting increased density and other regulatory incentives. It has been amended nearly continuously since its passage in 1973 and now represents a wide range of trade-offs that encompass parking requirements, land donation, senior citizen housing, student housing, and more.
